This is a very small piece of technelogy. If you are always on the go then this is the computer for you. If you are looking for a laptop for the home you'd be better parting with an extra hundred pound and getting something a lot more powerful. One noteable up-side of this machine is that it has a long battery life. When sitting infront of it the screen always seems bigger than the 10 inches it is. The wireless connection from this machine isn't all that great and it takes a while for it to get going after turning it on. Personally i dont own one but if i was to get one id be expecting to pay a lot less than the $300 asking price.

How to Choose Asus Eee PC 1002HA Netbook

The need I recently had to buy a laptop to carry around during my trips, especially to see the email and use skype. I did not want something bulky, but not a toy and so I began research among the netbook market. My choice fell on the Eee 1002HA of the Asus, the brand that already knew and found it reliable for use in office long.

Even if I'm using just the view and therefore may need to be revised in future if the product had to demonstrate a problem, for the moment I am fully satisfied with the choice, and therefore will tell you what were my criteria:

Large display: despite being a netbook, has a 10-inch screen with a resolution of 1024x600 and an LED backlight which makes it comfortable and not very strenuous for your eyes
Weight: Incorporated by about 1.2 kg, represents a great advantage especially when traveling by plane and has to deal with the number of bags that can be allowed in the cabin

Battery life: the nearly 5 hours of battery life are a matter not to be underestimated
Design: I like a lot for the line and even more for the color, part black and part shiny satin. I found it very elegant and dare I say sophisticated.

Price: I put this last factor that really has been decisive. With less than € 400 I took home a gem with a hard disk with 160 gigabytes, webcam, Bluetooth, Wifi, and multitouch mouse.

After months of research information and visits to shops to see this new category of mobile PCs, I decided to buy this Acer Aspire One. Now months apart they are fully satisfied and convinced.
In my humble opinion is very light, takes up less space than a quasi agenda, excellent reception of Wi-Fi networks, the screen can be seen very well and has some nice color, the keyboard is large and comfortable with the keys.

In my then 11.6-inch screen is perfect, I did not even throw on new 12 "because for me the show is precisely that it is small and I do not feel the slightest lack of standard laptop type 14/15 inches . You're in bed with the PC on the 'abdomen and even feel it! Among other things, another thing not to be underestimated is that very little heat!

You have everything: windows xp, 120 gb hard drive, USB sockets, wi-fi etc etc ...
Please open programs while connected to the Internet, you are also downloading in the other window ... and can not be faulted

Really good in my opinion.
Only things to point out, perhaps the lack of an integrated Bluetooth device and poor battery life.
For the bluetooth but I put a mini mini "stick" USB and I had read that the battery had to leave a battery life of 8 hours.
